Our Junior Guard Trainees Have a Lot of Fun While Learning
Our Junior Guard training program is designed with FUN in mind to develop and build self esteem, lifesaving & emergency skills and techniques, physical fitness, respect and appreciation of the ocean environment, and general water safety awareness.
Our Junior Guards Learn Good Sportsmanship and Teamwork
Through a variety of exercises our Junior Guard trainees learn good sportsmanship and teamwork - in a FUN environment. They play games, have friendly competitions and interact with our professional lifeguards each day of the program.
Our Junior Guard Trainees Get Plenty of Beach and Water Time
Our Junior Lifeguards get plenty of daily activity on the beach and in the water. Trainees surf, body board, and get plenty of swimming. They also receive training from lifeguard professionals on how to use lifeguard emergency equipment.
Junior Guards Learn Rescue Techniques and Lifesaving Skills
Our Junior Guard training program equips trainees with the knowledge and skills to recognize safe and dangerous areas of the water. Trainees learn about rip currents, how to recognize persons in distress, the proper steps of a rescue, and current rescue board techniques.
Our Junior Guard Trainees Get Trained by Experienced Life Guards
Experience is a great teacher! Each day our Junior Guard trainees interact with professional lifeguards that know the water, ocean safety, the value of teamwork, and the most current lifesaving and rescue techniques.
