Swim Tryouts
Passing the swim tryout is a mandatory pre-requisite for all new applicants.
Each new applicant to the Junior Guard program must complete and pass a swim test; the requirements are:
- Swim 100 yards without stopping
- Tread water for 5 minutes
- Swim 10 yards underwater
The swim tryout dates and locations for the 2011 Summer Junior Lifeguard Program will be available in late winter.
Please remember that the registration deadline will be June 1st for Session 1 and the first day of Session 1 for the second Session. Swim tryouts will be scheduled prior to those dates, so keep checking the website for details.

Financial Aid
Scholarships covering half of the tuition may be available based on financial need.
Refund Policy
A $50 refund processing fee will apply to all refunds. There are no refunds once the program begins.
